There is lots to do every day of the week to learn more about Hawaii. Check out some of the highlights! (Please keep in mind that days and times are subject to change and/or cancellation).

To further resort efforts to share the rich culture and history of Hawaii with guests, Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa adopted Halau Kala'akeakauikawekiu, a respected and growing hula school.

This means that the halau holds its practices on resort grounds. Guests are welcomed to sit, watch, enjoy, and take photographs as the keiki (children) and adults work diligently with their kumu (teacher) to perfect intricate hand and foot movements while expressing the emotion of hula.

Halau Kala'akeakauikawekiu practice schedule:
• Monday - 3:30-5:30 p.m. (keiki) and 6-7:30 p.m. (adult ladies)
• Wednesday - 4:00-5:30 p.m. (keiki) and 6-7:30 p.m. (adult ladies)
• Saturday - 8:30a .m. to 2:30 p.m., keiki of different ages at different times
Rehearsals are usually outdoors on or near the Hawaii Lawn.

Manta Talks
Mantas can generally be seen anytime after sunset from the viewing area at Crystal Blue Terrace. Complimentary manta talks provide guests an introduction to the famous Keauhou Manta Rays. Through a short presentation by manta researchers, guests learn about their amazing size, the difference between Manta and Sting Rays, and why Mantas are unique to and frequent the Keauhou area.

Olelo (talk story)
On the coastal walking path where the only sound is of the ocean’s waves against the black lava cliffs, Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa hosts a weekly fireside Olelo, or Hawaiian storytelling. Guests have the opportunity to learn about Hawaii through stories and legends passed down through generations. 
• Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

Poolside movies
For an evening of family fun, Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa hosts weekly Poolside Movies. From the comfort of lounge chairs or inner tubes in the pool, everyone can enjoy a movie night, compliments of Sheraton Keauhou Bay. Popcorn and other snacks are available for purchase to complete the fun experience.

Lu`au
Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort & Spa is home to Firenesia luau and dinner show held each Monday evening on the Bayside Lawn. Sample local foods (along with contemporary favorites) then sit back, relax, and enjoy an entertaining, educational show with dramatic song, dance and chants.
